Good jobs bows! You had an amazing season! You played tough all the way till the end!

Wish this was a true double elimination like baseball/softball regionals. I am positive UH would win the rematch against FSU.

But it was a great season and I totally did not expect UH to be as good as they were.
On to next year, only lose a few players and get some awesome recruits and I am sure all the returnees will be even better as well.

    Next season's gonna rock.

Now hoping Karissa caps off her career with a pairs championship with Britt and that Nikki and Katie get to the semi's or quarters at least.

  3. Cindy Luis:

I think UH's pairs have a good shot of at least making the quarters.

  4. Brandon:

Who do we think will make AA from hawaii?
I think Cook and tiegs do. With Nikki and katie having a shot.

  5. FormerlyWarriorfan:

Obviously Karissa and Brittany are locks for all american, think Nikki might make it too.

  6. Brandon:

I was looking at the avca site and it had nothing about all Americans from any previous years on it.

  7. formerlywarriorfan:

I guess the Seminoles ate their wheaties this morning as they are giving Pepperdine all they can handle and might even win.

  8. formerlywarriorfan:

champ is tied 2-2 dykstra/strehlow vs Peliterri sisters for all the marbles.

  9. Brandon:

Go fsu! Pulling for the underdog win!

  10. formerlywarriorfan:

Pepp wins it, no surprise there, surprise is how close it was.

  11. Who's Confused?:

    ???

  12. Who's Confused?:

LBSU's two pairs made it into Sunday, Ete.

  13. FormerlyWarriorfan:

I wonder who Cook/Tiegs and Speiler/Taylor have to open up with in tomorrow's pairs tournament.

Just realized AVCA put up the pairings. Tiegs/Cook have to play Aigner-Swasey/Todorovic and Spieler/Taylor play against Jackson/Johnson
so they have to take out both Long Beach pairs in the round of sixteen.

If they both win Tiegs/Cook then probably take on Dykstra/Strelow from Pepp and Spieler/Taylor take on Burham/Huges from USC,
YIKES, touch match ups for sure.

I'm sure the long trip finally had taken it's toll on the Sandbows. Congratulations on a great season. As someone mentioned yesterday the players are the youngest of those that made the semis, the future looks good.

Yep, Florida state loses Fatima Yildrim and Aurora Davis (all american),
USC loses Natasa Siljkovic, Kirby Burnham(all american) and Sam Hirschmann
Pepperdine loses the most, in Caitlin Racich (All american), Victoria Adelhelm, Kellie Woolever(all american), Emily Cook and Kelly Larsen (all american)

UH is losing Karissa Cook (All american) and unfortunately Aly Longo is not using her final year of eligibility
