gotta love Ramos with the solo stuff ties it at 14. SC comes back to take the 15-14 lead at the TTO.
March 8th, 2013 at 6:43 pm
Blogging from home again Cindy? Hope you're not sick. Looks like USC radio guy & gal are in your spot tonight.

March 8th, 2013 at 6:59 pm
so frustrating to watch. UH serves for the Set. Zarkovic nets his serve. Christiansen with an amazing dig over the press table, keeps it alive Marks blocked, Averill block. SC wins 26-24
March 8th, 2013 at 7:00 pm
Warriors continue to struggle after getting to 20. UH outscored 7-3 at the end.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:00 pm
This team can choke like no other.
Why ramos didn't set outside when Christenson wasn't even ready to go up to block I'll never know, Siki would have had no blockers up instead he went right to Sedore who had two blockers on him jeez.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:02 pm
Timmer 1-0-1, Sedore 1-0-7, Averill 3-1-5, Marks 1-2-8, Zarkovic 2-0-8, Holt 1-0-2. For SC
Jansen 3-2-7, Christenson 0-1-1, Rivero 3-1-9, Feathers 4-0-5, Kirchner 1-0-1, Booth 6-2-15.

UH led Set 2 3-0. Rivero with 2 straight aces, puts SC up 4-3.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:08 pm
WF, was thinking the same thing. could have even dumped it.
SC on an 8-1 run, lead 8-4. TO UH
March 8th, 2013 at 7:14 pm
Not a good night. SC up 15-7 at the TTO. was expecting a little more from the Warriors tonight.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:14 pm
I am very discouraged by the downward spiral this team is taking. I think Wade needs to do some lineup changes, put in Max at setter and a new libero, maybe take siki out as well.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:16 pm
Thinking they need to make a change soon. Olsen in for Marks. UH still down 16-8.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:17 pm
Christianson with an ace 18-8. TO UH.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:22 pm
LIkely too little too late, SC up 19-12. TO Trojans.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:22 pm
Felt like the wheels fell off early in set after a pretty good start :-/
March 8th, 2013 at 7:26 pm
Warriors not folding, have rallied to 20-16. TO UH. Sedore serving.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:33 pm
UH holds off 3 set points, not a fourth. SC wins 25-21.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:37 pm
Ramo's set location the past two weeks has been awful. Even on freeballs he makes poor sets.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:37 pm
UH hits .222 for set 2. they were at 000 midway through. SC at 236.
SC with 26 digs, UH 15.. both teams with 5 aces, UH 10 SEs, SC with 8.

Jansen 6-2-10, Rivera 5-3-14, Feathers 4-1-7, Kirchner 3-1-5, Booth 9-2-21.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:45 pm
yep, at home with a cold that started last friday at the arena. glad I wasn't over there when Christenson went flying over where I have been.
I do think they need to change something up.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:48 pm
Too painful to watch
March 8th, 2013 at 7:51 pm
Agree. so much potential and they just can't be consistent. UH up 8-4 on some great serves.
March 8th, 2013 at 7:58 pm
UH hanging on to the lead, 15-13 at the TTO.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:01 pm
And just like that, SC scores 3 straight. takes the lead at 16-15. TO UH.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:06 pm
Sedore with a kill, UH up 20-19. TO SC.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:13 pm
Marks & Averill with the block. UH serving for the Set 24-23. TO SC.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:15 pm
Averill with the stuff. UH wins 25-22
March 8th, 2013 at 8:19 pm
UH hit .280 for Set 3, SC .259. SC still way ahead on digs which has kept a lot of rallies alive 36-19. play of the set may have been Zarkovic's solo stuff of Jansen. Instead of SC leading 21-20, UH takes the lead at 21-20.
UH with 11 blocks, SC with 5.
UH with 8 aces, SC with 7. both teams with 14 SEs. Sedore with 11 kills leads the Warriors. Booth with 13 and Jansen with 12 for the Trojans.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:20 pm
I see this going 5, anyone else?
March 8th, 2013 at 8:21 pm
Maybe not. Poor set to Holt. SC leads 4-1. Booth with his 15th makes it 5-1
March 8th, 2013 at 8:23 pm
SC has pulled away at 8-2. TO UH.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:24 pm
I'm afraid it won't go to five. Seems like a repeat of Northridge.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:26 pm
I know people will think im a Joby Ramos hater, but his setting is just not up to par im sorry.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:27 pm
Zarkovic with his eighth kill, and now an ace, pulls UH to 9-6. That is UH's 9th ace tonight.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:31 pm
don't think you're a hater. the sets aren't great, but many times the pass has been very tight to the net. surprised he hasn't been called for nets.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:32 pm
Another mis-set to Holt. Think he's jumping too early, SC up 15-9 at the TTO.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:37 pm
Hawaii closes to 17-14. TO SC.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:41 pm
Nice up by Cheape and Zarkovic out of the back row, pulls Uh to 20-17.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:41 pm
Sedore with his 15th kill, makes it 20-18.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:44 pm
they made the right call on that one. Marks attack was off the block into the atenna. They miseed that one though when the Trojan went under the net. Zarkovic with another kill. it's 22-20
March 8th, 2013 at 8:45 pm
Averill with the block. it's 22-21. TO SC.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:47 pm
SC with match point at 24-21. TO UH.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:50 pm
wow, Olsen with the overpass. ties it at 24. great serving by Sedore.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:51 pm
Block for UH, makes it 25-24.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:51 pm
ace by Sedore ends it. on to 5
March 8th, 2013 at 8:54 pm
I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. I'm glad they proved me wrong. I won't make any predictions for the fifth set. Cindy, you were right, you sure had unshakable faith.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:54 pm
that 4th set ending was just ridiculous! so fun to watch. this team likes to play from behind, and that 4th set was kind of a microcosm of the season so far.
sedore serving with ice in his veins.
here's hoping they can carry that momentum into a win in the 5th.
March 8th, 2013 at 8:59 pm
usc might still be shell-shocked from set 4. this match was supposed to be over. maybe they can't believe they're still playing ...
c'mon warriors!
March 8th, 2013 at 9:09 pm
usc has as many Hawaii players (cassiday, christensen and lam) on their side of the court as Hawaii right now (ramos, cheape, holt)
March 8th, 2013 at 9:10 pm
sedore with a yellow card for talking through the net ... looks like some of CSUN's antics from last week followed hawaii to this match tonight ...
March 8th, 2013 at 9:12 pm
definitely the most entertaining comeback (and win) for hawaii this year ... and this team has had a lot of comebacks this season.
congrats to hawaii and wade for the win!
March 8th, 2013 at 9:15 pm
Wow - enough said
March 8th, 2013 at 9:33 pm
Sorry, had to file a story for the first edition so Tsai could get quotes.
great win for Uh. surprised that the yellow went to Sedore. SC guys looked to be jabbering at the ref more.
Oh, I didn't have any faith that it would go five. It just had that feeling when I wrote it. Didn't think SC wasn't playing that well.
March 8th, 2013 at 9:33 pm
will be starting a new thread for the rewind with some stats.
